location of oven - window?

Hi all, Does anybody know, can an all electric stand alone oven/hob be placed under a window? or are there restrictions? many thanks

There are no restrictions that I am aware but it wouldnt recommend as there are restrictions on how close it can be to cupboards. Where would you put the extractor fan. If you would like to put anything near the window I would recommend the sink and washing machine

Hi, the only restriction i can think of would be if the window has a upvc sill that overhangs - just think of the heat that you get from the oven and im sure all will be ok......i do agree with Bailey's carpentry though in regards to putting anything on or around the window but again just be wary of the heat
