Moving electric emmersion hot water tank from kitchen to bedroom

Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 2.51 PM

Hi I have small one bed flat. There is currently a large hot water tank, which provides hot water via an electric immersion heater (there is no gas in the flat and I cannot install central heating as there is no connection and the flat is in a converted period property). The tank and pipes take up most of a wall in my small kitchen. I would love to move it to give me more badly needed kitchen space. There is a floor to ceiling cupboard in my bedroom. The bathroom is between the two rooms. Could I move it there? Also if there are any ideas on smaller more efficient water heaters that would be great. Particularly if moving is not an offer. I have seen under sink heaters, which could do my kitchen and bathroom taps, but I also have a bath, so am presuming this wouldn't work. Thanks so much

a decent plumber can sort all of that out its just a matter of time and money, you could have electric combi boiler fitted for hot water and central heating, there are also larger capacity electric water heaters available.phone ciphe for a list of registered plumbers in your area.
