Carpet on top of laminate floor
Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.10 PM
Hi my laminate floor is starting to look grubby. As I am on my own with back problems it is going to be too much for me to remove it. Is it possible to carpet over it and if so what is the best type of carpet to use. Many thanks Kind regards

If you are really thinking about carpeting over laminated flooring here is an idea for you cut the carpet to the right size of the floor then roll it back up like a Rug get carpet spray it's a adhesive a sticky spray it on the floor and roll the carpet out then spread a bit more and roll the carpet out and it will stick to the laminated flooring for you hopefully that should do the job for you

You can lay your carpet on laminate floor a lot of customers I worked for do this you can buy a felt back and it can be stuck round edges or underlay n gripper only problem you might with underlay n gripper is your door might need shaving to allow for height of carpet hope this helps you
