please can anyone tell me what thickness of tiles i should be buying to lay on my kitchen floor. and the least thickness. cheers

Any thickness is fine, it is the bed they are laid on the makes the most difference. If you can have a bed rather than large blobs, often referred to as dot and dab, then it should be fine. It is also wise to treat the finished tiles with a sealer as soon as possible as this will stop any stains.
