What are the ~1 inch pipes sticking up in my garden for?

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.29 PM

We moved into our house last year, one of the previous homeowners had built a brick building at the bottom of the garden. I assume this is related, as there is a white, plastic pipe sticking up out of the ground, approximately 1 inch diameter. One is sticking up where we have a patch of stones near the house side of the garden. It is near the main soil pipe and waster water drain, but appears to go under the garden towards the brick building at the bottom. Sticking up from the gap between the concrete slabs and the brick building are two more plastic pipes, one white and one blue. The white might link to the other one? What are these for? I'm guessing drainage maybe as the white pipe often fills with water. Can anyone advise? I'm going to leave them alone but it would be nice to know what they are in case we need to do something with them.

Hello In my opinion they could have been used for services, the white could have ducted electric to garden lights, water fountains etc, the blue pipe would be for water as this is what we use this for Regards Peter
