Is it simple to install a gas pipe for a gas cooker in the kitchen?

Anonymous user 15/03/2024 - 2.35 PM

Our house has gas supplied for the central heating but our kitchen seems to be only electric and I cannot seem to find any gas pipes in the room. Is it fairly simple to have a gas pipe installed in the kitchen if the house is already supplied?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Your are asking 'how long is a piece of string' This really would depend on the nearest suitable live gas service pipe that the Gas Safe engineer can use to extend a new gas supply practically to the location of the cooker. Recommend you invite a Gas Safe engineer to survey and quote, why not place the job on mybuilder.com most engineers will be happy to offer a free no obligation quotation.
