What is the correct way to fix guttering on either side of a downpipe.

Hello all, thank you for reading this. I hope I can make it clear what I am concerned with. The outrig roof of our house is about 7 metres long with a downpipe right in the middle. New gutter has been fitted on the left and right side of the downpipe. Four clips have been used on each side to support the guttering. The concern I have, is the gutter from the last clip before the downpipe (so about a metre length) on both sides of the downpipe. They both take a sharp decline to wards the downpipe. Visibly it looks like a symmetrical letter "Y". (If only I could attach a photo.) But hopefully you get the picture. The overall result is the gutter at the downpipe is about 2 inches lower that the gutter at the nearest clip. The guttering otherwise looks conventional. Should I be concerned with this fixing? The fitter stated that a 10mm drop per metre is required but looks to me as though the 10mm have been accumulated and applied to the last metre. He is going to video a water test to show that water does flow away. Any thoughts or concerns or reasons why the fixing could or should look like this? Thank you.
