110mm Soil pipe connector won't fit iron soil pipe with flange
Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.15 PM
We are installing a shower on the ground floor and have bought a drain connector to connect to our soil pipe where we have cut our existing iron soil pipe. This is the connector: http://mcalpineplumbing.com/plastic-chrome-fittings/drain-connectors-boss-connectors-roof-flashing/dc1-bl-boc-drain-connector-boss Unfortunately the connector will not push all the way down because it's too tight with the flange. The fit would be really tight without the flange. Would it be better to push it down with some sealant instead of the flange? We really need it to be as low as possible to get good flow from our shower waste.
