Bow bay windows replaced now sound of debris falling in cavity wall. Normal or concern?

Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.15 PM

New plastic double glazing installed 2 weeks ago to bay of 1930s semi detached property. Have since heard debris/grit falling in cavity wall several times since. Used a good company that several friends used in past and was present during the fitting so know jacks were used on downstairs. It is a bow shaped window both downstairs and up. Is this normal to hear as the area has been disturbed during installation?

This can be normal as it could just be looose bits of motar left from fixing points and airflow could be causing them to drop. Like you said you used a highly recommended company and if props where needed the company would of done so.
