Re-render a garden wall

I have a brick wall at the back of my garden at the boundry. Its in a reasonable state but there is no render on the bottom 3 rows of bricks. I would like to patch it in. The rest of the render seems to be ok. What should I use? Its not that important for it to look perfect. Thanks in advabce

SAND AND CEMENT MIX,WITH A WATERPROOFER AND PVA FOR EXTRA STRENGTH,MAYBE A BIT OF GRANO FOR REAL STRENGTH

Sand ,cement mix ratio of 4:1, add waterproofer to the water before mixing.
