was there a combi boiler fitted before the new one or just a gravity fed hot water cylinder delivering your hot water ? normally the combi boiler will deliver mains fed hot water to all your outlets (taps showers ect ect ) and you would not need a pump to power the shower, given the question you set i would think mthat there is too much pressure ot the pump, allbeit that it was ok for a short time , hope this helps Bob

Hi, You don't mention what kind of shower you have, but most of the common brands ie Mira, Triton etc are electric and only work off the low pressure cold water tank in the attic. You mention a new combi boiler which would indicate that your system could be high pressure which might have damaged the shower. A noise usually means worn bearings or damaged brushes in the case of pumped power showers. If you want more help give me a call. Regards, Guy.
