Opinions of Stovax and yeoman 8kw woodburners

Hello, we're looking to buy a new woodburner. We have had a Stockton Stovax 7 inset woodburner which we have always been happy with but are replacing it following some renovation work, with a freestanding stove. We need an 8 kw output as it's quite a big open plan space and at the moment are considering either the Yeoman CL8 or the Stovax View 8 and would appreciate hearing anyone's views of them. Alternatively if anyone has any other recommendations they would be gratefully received. We don't want anything too old fashioned/traditional looking and our fireplace is 800m wide. Thanks

They are both good stoves manufactured in the Uk by the same company! i would have no problem recommending them to you, otherwise look to companies that are German, or Scandinavian and have a decent history (more than 30 years). Also look to see if the stove is going to be 2020 compliant is CE marked and Defra exempt if you live in a smoke controlled area.
