Anonymous user 15/03/2024 - 2.34 PM

I need to relocate a light switch and add some more cable , i will need to join both cables with a suitable junction box. Do I need this work to be certified in line with curent regs, is it something a home owner could do ?

A Minor Works Certificate is needed. Although, the person who issues it has to be a registered electrician apart from competent. Regards George

A Minor Electrical Works Certificate will be required to comply with BS7671:2008. This should also only be carried out by a competent person.
