Toilet Waste Pipe Solvent or Push Fit into Ring Seal Joint

Anonymous user 15/03/2024 - 2.34 PM

Hi, I have a double branch ring seal fitting vertically attached to my soil stack. I have a toilet needs connecting to this, from approximately 1200mm away. My question is can either solvent or push fit pipe be used to push into the ring seals on the double branch? Are the internal diameters different between the 2 types of pipe because I will need to connect a flexible pan connector to the other end and I'm assuming that just pushes into the bore? Hope someone can advise. Thanks in advance,

Either can be used as ring seal joints are basically pushfit fittings. Most 4" /110mm solvent and ring seal pipe and fittings are are same size but can differ slightly between manufacturers so ideally try to use same as your existing pipe work to make things easier for yourself. And yes the pan connector will push inside of the soil pipe.
