Cracked glass in bathroom
Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.28 PM
I have a cracked piece of glass in an upstairs bathroom, double glazed unit. Is it possible to simply replace the glass? Rather than the whole unit?
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi steve. Yes the glass unit can be taken out and replaced with a new one. It's a quick and a lot cheaper than a new window. Thanks

Hi yes you can just change the glass, just make sure you get the correct thickness as they vary and if it's below 800mm it need to be toughened. Hope this helps
