Used mesh for skimming of internal wall?

Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.15 PM

Which mesh is the best for using on internal wall for skimming? Which brand or product do you recommend? Has the mesh self adhesive?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Think you're talking about scrim tape ! They are self adhesive and all good try using the wider one 4in I think for internal corners

If by mesh you are referring to scrim tape (the tape like little cross hatches that are put over joints etc.) then you will be ideal to use any really. They are all essentially the same with other being slightly tackier but no great difference. Use a wider tape in corner so that it laps properly and you can get it right in there. Remember to not overlap your tape where possible.
