Which scrubbable paint???

Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 2.49 PM

Hi, I've just been into Brewers - I'm after some good quality scrubbable interior matt paint (fuschia coloured - don't ask!). There are so many different brands to choose from and I'm confused as to which would be the best (most hardwearing/best coverage/quality) one to buy. Can't afford Farrow and Ball but have no idea which of the other brands is best. Could anyone with experience of scrubbable paint advise? Thanks! Emma

Over the past few years we have always stuck with Dulux trade diamond matt but having recently painted a 5 bed house where valspar trade scrubbable matt was specified and was really surprised with how good the product was and will definitely use & recommend in the future, a better product than dulux.

I've specified in the past Crown Extreme Clean on commercial projects, which gives a good look at a more affordable price. Scrubbable paint is not the same as washable. Washable paint is meant for low-traffic areas that will need an occasional clean-up, while scrubbable paint is designed for high-traffic areas with a lot of potential mess. Washable paint is a slightly more cheaper option.

If you're close to a Brewers they can supply their own brand - Albany, in a durable matt. A lot cheaper than Dulux. I use it a lot.
