Removing Tongue and Groove Floorboards

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.09 PM

Hi I am trying to remove a couple of damaged T&G chipboard floor boards. I have cut through the tongue on the relevant boards, but struggling to remove the nails from the joists. Any advice for how to remove the nails without doing any damage to the floor below? Thanks

Cut them off with a saw or angle grinder.

Hi there you could purchase a pry bar from screwfix or wickes... now with this tool and a hammer you can hit the bar throw the board until it is around the head of the nail and you should be able to pry the nails out here is a link to the bar on screwfix hope this helps..... www.screwfix.com/p/pry-bar-203mm/37748?_requestid=34 MJD CARPENTRY
