Depth regulations for free standing new office to be built.

Anonymous user 15/03/2024 - 2.34 PM

Hello. We are wanting to build an office on our land from bricks but would like advice on the relevant depth of hard-core and ready mix concrete. It'll be 20ft X 10ft. Many thanks, Mr Daniel Riess

Hi, I take it you mean for the footings, you would need to know what the ground is like where it is going to be placed and make sure it is not in an area that suffer from subsidence. Also I take it that it will be single story so I would say 1200mm deep should be more thank strong enough of concrete for the footings as for the floor I would recommend block and beam. hope this helps. beech and son construction
