What's the best way to cover ugly piping?
Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 2.48 PM
We have external radiator piping in every room and I was originally going to get the PVC box type covering, but with the amount of piping we have, it turns out that this will be an expensive job. I am relatively handy, so am quite confident that I can build wooden covering myself and paint over, but need advice as to what type of wood to get for the base and best type of wooden casing to purchase. Also the best place to source it cheaply. Thanks in advance.

Mdf rips cut down to your size required fix 2x1 timber for bearers and router a mould onto the lid of the boxing with a overhang. Easy to fill and better paint finish
