Using combi boiler's fused isolation box for shaver supply unit
Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.08 PM
I have a fused (3amp) isolation unit in a bathroom cupboard feeding a combi boiler in the same cupboard. I want someone to fit a shaver supply unit in a separate compartment above the boiler in the same cupboard. Can this be done as a spur from the same isolation unit?

Hi
In theory it can be done. The best option though will be to get a qualified electrician to assess the situation as he will be able to identify things that a third person can't and will be able to advise you accordingly

Be best to fit another fuse spur and a 1 amp fused for the shaver point.
Needs a registered Electrician to check all is safe.
