Bricklayer or handyman?

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.08 PM

I need to cut a vent in my kitchen wall for a dryer. Is this a job for a bricklayer or a handyman?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi a handyman could do this as it would just need to be core drilled out and a vent fitted to the outside

Hi there I would say either a handyman or a bricklayer can do this job in fact any multi-skilled builder can do this and there a number of methods in doing so, personally I would core drill four holes after checking dimensions, one in each corner then remove the remaining brick by hammer and bolster, finally fitting vent to outside.

Hi there this could be done by a handyman, it just depends if the handyman has the correct tools to cover this sort of work someone like myself will be able to do this but others may not be able to do so.
