Skirting boards - before or after sanding/varnishing wooden floor

Hi We are having our wooden floors sanded and varnished. We are also having new skirting boards installed. Which should we do first? Thanks

I would sand and varnish the floor first then fit the skirting on top of floor

its always recommended and easier to do the sanding/varnish first, but its also possible to sand/varnish it after, thou you have to be more carefully...
