Toilet not filling up with water fast enough
Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.27 PM
At first we had a leaky toilet which was constantly leaking into the tiolet pan. Thames water came out to address this for free but since they have done so, the toilet takes about 30mins-45mins to re-fill with water. How do I solve this?
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi Chas,
It sounds like when they changed the inlet valve to stop the continuous flushing they have either not opened the isolation valve fully or, if your WC is supplied from a cold water tank, they haven't removed the high pressure flow restrictor on the new inlet.
Hopefully Thames water can pop back and sort it, or a local plumber, it's a quick job.
Best of luck, Rob
