Connection required for replacing freestanding cooker with built under gas hob and gas oven

Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 2.48 PM

I have a gas cooker that's connect to a black tube that's to a cooper pipe connection. What's required to connect both gas hob and gas double oven to existing cooper pipe connection? Is there a two way connection that can be used?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi I am not in any means a gas engineer but what you describe is the bayonet fitting that the cooker connects to by a flexible hose, you may need to have the gas pipe upgraded in order to connect another appliance to it, I would strongly advice directly contacting a gas safe engineer who will most likely come and look and advise for free anyway

You need a gas safe engineer, they will tell you what you need and a price to do it, you must not touch it.
