non-gypsum plaster that is salt resistant

sand /cement with washed river sand and a waterproof addative is a good alternative to lime based backing plaster however when used on 9inch solid walls or poorly insulated walls with a low u value it can be prone to condensation hence curing one problem and causing another .Although lime based plaster such as limelite or dry coat is expensive it is much better and we would always prefer to use it and skim it with limelite high impact finish.
