Changing ceiling light size
Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.27 PM
Hi, I am downsizing the size of one ceiling light. The ceiling does not require painting. I would appreciate any tips/suggestions on how the area surrounding the new, smaller light fitting (should removal of the former & larger light fitting reveal a mess), may best be fixed up post electrical work. Many thanks for any advice/ideas. The new light is a GU10 3 bar (drop) spotlight. No, Kevin, that will not cover the area of discolouration, when the old, flat kitchen light is removed, for the much smaller GU10 fitting, but thank you very much for your idea.

Use downlight hole reducers or downlight hole convertors.
