Cover up a stair lift

I have a stair lift fitted on my stairs at home, is their anyway of blocking it in and making it look as nice as possible. The stairs are just standard house stairs and the stair lift goes up straight. Many thanks

Yes, you can have a ply box made from top to bottom that can be painted or even papered.
Where the bracket that moves goes up and down the track you could have brushed that open and close as it goes by. I did it for my grandmother and she loved it.

Depending on the make and model this can be an easy task to complete, however you should ensure that any work is carried out by lift professionals as there are often safety switches that cannot be covered.
