My electric cooker isnt heating up, yesterday only hob and grill would heat. Now only the hobs heats

Hi, I am just about to order part to replace as I think my thermostat is the issue. Wonder if you could confirm /advise please. I was told that my cooker has two thermostats, not sure if this is accurate though..(AMICA 508EE1 (W) ) 2 days ago over only worked below 150degrees, grill and hob fine. Yesterday only grill and hob work, Today only the hobs work. I assume it is a faulty thermostat and not clock/an element for example but is there any way to be sure? Thank You

I'm taking it that your electric cooker is a hob, top oven/grill combined AND a lower main oven. It is unusual for an oven to work, but only up to a certain temperature! It's normally they either heat or don't heat. So unfortunately the fault is obscure. It really needs someone to check out the heating elements...thermostats ( one for each oven) and also the main selector switch.

Personally I would call a local domestic appliance engineer. You could buy and fit countless stuff on it and still not solve it.

Almost certainly an issue with the Hob electronics, whether it is the thermostat or simply a control issue with the knobs on the front. I would suggest a specialist cooker/domestic appliance engineer or just buy a new one if it's old as it may be a combination of problems.
