No cold water to cistern or cold water tap

Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 2.47 PM

Currently have an issue with a very slow dribble of cold water to the bathroom sink tap and toilet cistern. The hot water works fine and the electric shower is working fine. The water tank in the loft is full and refills fine. Any ideas?

try squirting washing up liquid down cold service pipe, just a little ,it breaks surface tension in pipes.

probably air lock in the pipe you better get a plumber round to clear the air lock,if you got a tank in the loft, put a garden hose in the hole where the cold water leaves the tank turn hose on for a bit then try your cold taps again
