Differences between orangery and extension with roof lantern

What is the difference between orangery and extension with roof lantern. I'm looking to add a 3x4m single storey extension as a dining area to my kitchen/lounge and not sure if I should go for an orangery or extension with roof how long should it take?

Hi oragary and extension areally simular if you've got an existing extention then you put a rood lantern in the roof of it but if you haven't and got to have one built then it becomes an oragary.thanks Craig
