Warm air underfloor vents

How would you fill in ducted vents in floors upstairs and downstairs from old redundant warm air system

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi, Usually I would remove the redundant system and associated ductwork if we were doing improvement works, otherwise cut back you ductwork enough to cap off and cover over. One thing to bear in mind before you undertaking these works is weather or not your redundant system is in fact providing you any passive fresh air? Good Luck Chris

Hi there, it really depends on what flooring you have and whether you're trying to fill the vent with a view to that being the finish or simply filling the hole so that other flooring such as carpet can go over the top. Could you give a bit more detail? Thanks, Rob
