Wood to un-even tile transition
Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 2.47 PM
I have solid wood flooring in my kitchen with some uneven tiles around the wood flooring. They are roughly the same height. Whilst the wood flooring is level, the tiles are quite un-even. What would be the best way to cover the gap from the wood to the un-even tiles?
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

If the gap doesn't exceed some mm, could be mastic.
If exceed a reasonable space, a low high skirting that matches with the floor, in color and specie.

You can also try by using a tiny T-bar metal between the tiles and wood floor.
I just did a job exactly like that but I cannot post here a picture to show you.
Many thanks
