Replaced old Mira Event XS Thermostatic Power Shower with brand new one, but power is a lot less

Replaced old shower with brand new one, same make and model. Old shower was 'the perfect shower' very powerful spray, even on half setting. That's why we chose the same model as a replacement. Qualified electrician installed it. But, new shower is about half as powerful as the old one, even on highest setting. Do we have a faulty shower?

Check to see if you have a blockage on your Inlet filters before returning your unit.
