Raise roof conversion

I have a detached bungalow and in th future want to raise the pitch of the shallow roof to accommodate a lid extension.i have a couple of questions 1) how to work out approximate cost? 2) already have a single story kitchen extension at the back of house with pitched roof.how easy would it be to tie back in to roof if pitch was changed? A few identical houses in the culdisac have already done this so I would expect planning to be granted. Thanks
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

your approximate cost would be best worked out by a quantity surveyor they would be able to quantify all associated costs i.e. labour and materials, this could become a cost per square meter, they should could also recommend a good local trades person that has this kind of experience is able to do the works for you

The best way would be use a Loft Company who specialise in this as they will advise you as to the best way to do it and give you an exact price for doing the work
thanks
