Underfloor heating

I'm tiling a floor with underfloor heating and was wondering if I could use the insulating boards without plywooding the floor first. The reason for this is because it's a wet room and as the former is already sealed/screwed in place it will be difficult to raise up, thanks

No you do not need to plywood the floor before fitting insulating boards providing they are of the correct type to receive tiles and they are being fixed to a suitable surface in the proper manner, hope this helps

Agree with Brian. After you're underfloor heating is installed you will be screeding so will give you a level playing field to accept new tile system. I'd ensure your insulation boards are flat before proceeding with heating and screeding. Hope you find this helpful.
