Any pitfalls/risks with stripping out bathroom, leaving and refitting later?

Hello, A bathroom question I’d appreciate some guidance on – thank you in advance for your help! I’m wondering whether there could be any potential issues with stripping out a bathroom (i.e. removing tiles, macerator, sanitary ware), capping off the pipes and then leaving this as a ‘blank canvas’ to refit new tiles and sanitary ware apx 2-3 months later. New components would be in the same places as those they are replacing. Reason I was considering this approach is because I’m currently having work done on the loft and hallway – and thought it’d be good to get this messy part of the bathroom work done at the same time – both to avoid possibly messing up or damaging the new carpets and hallway and because there’s already a skip outside the house currently. It might make more sense ideally to do the fuller refit of the bathroom in one go, but I’d need a few more months to save up for the new tiles and sanitary ware – so this seemed like it might be a good compromise. (I do have another bathroom in the house). Are there any potential pitfalls with this approach that I might not have considered, please?
