Light flashing ion hallway every 30 seconds or so
Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.26 PM
I have just recently moved into a new house and have found that when the lights are turned off the bulb in the hallway will flash every 30 seconds or so. I have done so reading on the internet but cannot get a solid answer on what this may be. There are energy saving bulbs throughout the house.
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

The only way you will probaby get a solid answer is to have someone look at the switches to make sure they are operating properly, hallway lights sometimes work off 2 switches witch makes knowing if the light is actually isolated a bit more complex. Many things can cause energy savers to flicker

Could be... loose connection, faulty lamp holder (s) switch connections, etc, etc. If you are unsure of how to check all this, safely. If so, call an electrician in.
