How to get the water to come back in both taps and get hot.

We had a problem with our heater where water wouldn't stop coming out we got it turned off but as many people trying to help came in and out trying to help might of pressed something by mistake and now in the kitchen water wont come out of any taps and in the bathroom only the hot tap and shower when on the hot setting yet the water is freezing cold not getting hot at all. How do I fix this?
