Wet ceiling and water dripping from extractor fan
Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 2.47 PM
Have a ground floor flat with Silavent extractor fan fitted in ensuite. Noticed this morning that the ceiling around the fan is wet and there's water dripping from the fan itself. How do we go about fixing this as I'm not sure where the ducting etc would go and as we have someone above us I don't want it to be affecting them as well! The fan normally stays on for about 5-10mins after light switches off and has been working fine until this morning! Thanks!

prob find your ducting will be full of water in the low bends from it condensing and there is that much water in there that its starting to over flow out the easiest route

Most probably condensation. Try to check the duct. It won't affect the upper flat.
