Artex ceiling has asbestos
Anonymous user 15/03/2024 - 2.33 PM
our ceilings have asbestos in the artex so we won't be disturbing it but wondered if we could have it skimmed/plastered over in a safe way without damaging or disturbing in any way! Thanks for any information

Yes quite easily.. simply bond over the artex to leave a flat surface ready for a plasterer to skim as normal. A doddle for any proffessional.

Better to over board as to skim over artex you would first need to scrape back any stipples or snots
