Is this a gas pipe behind my electric oven?

Our electric oven has broken and I'd love to replace it with a dual fuel, I thought we had a gas pipe behind but having looked there is a small rusty pipe sticking out about an inch that looks like a nut and bolt. Does that sound like a gas pipe?

Sounds like an old 1/2" bsp steel gas service. It may or not be live. Ask your local Gas Safe engineer to attend or post the job on mybuilder for someone to establish firstly if it is indeed live and secondly that its safe to use considering the amount of corrosion to it you have mentioned!
