How long would it take to remove a non load bearing wall?
Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.07 PM
Hi all, I'm looking at buying a house that has a plaster wall between the living and dining room. I would like that to be completely removed and re-plastered and cleared up before I get all the floors sorted. How long would it take from start to finish organising that? We would do it before we move in, so no furniture in the way or anything to worry about. The wall is approximately 4.5m long with a doorway and average ceiling height. Thanks in advance

If it's a stud wall made from plasterboard about a day.you must check if there are any pipes or electrics hidden.if there is they will need either removing or re routing.please be aware that there maybe some plastering required to make good any damage.

Is it a stud wall ? It would take about 1 hour to pull down if so and I would imagine a plasterer would have some making good to do , I would say 1 days work if it's what I imagine it is . I hope this helps .
