New boiler drawing in air somehow

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.07 PM

Hi I recently had a new combi boiler fitted. Noticed lots of pipe and rad noise. Bled all rads, checked if pipes could be expanding onto joists (not that) and then noticed that the noise starts in the hot water pipe coming out of the boiler when it kicks in. It's my belief that it's somehow drawing air in when it kicks in. Any ideas how to stop this?

Why don't you invite your installer back to investigate, surely this would be the best course of action from your point of view? After all he should offer a term of warranty on his work if it proves to be a installation error on his part!
