what is the best way to deal with damp patches and to prevent them happening in the future

there is a black patch at the back of the front door and the samll bedroom has some patches showing through the wall paper and there is a musty smell the main bedroom black patches showing above window all this has happened since getting cavity wall insulation is there a connection

Start with checking you have good ventilation.

Has the insulation blocked up any air bricks you may of had?
