Storage heater spark normal?

We have a fairly old Creda Storage Heater (model 79151). Its working absolutely fine however the past few mornings when I have woken up I have noticed small sparks within the heater which I can see through the vent at the top (as the room is dark). I have looked online a bit and this could be normal - it just before it is about to turn off (economy 7) Any advice greatly appreciated! Thanks

Hi, any kind of sparks coming from appliances is not a good sign and a potential fire risk.
Please get this checked by a qualified Electrician and replaced.

Sparks not good, will cause connection overheating and finally wires burning. Get electrician to clean electrical contacts with fine sand paper or tiny file.
