Wall Hung Toilet far from wall..
Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 2.46 PM
I hope to renovate my very awkward bathroom. The soil stack is on the floor, about a foot away from the concrete wall that the toilet backs on to. At its furthest point, the end of the soil stack is ~41cm away from the back wall! My current toilet is traditional toilet/cistern combo, and sits a foot away from the wall! I would like something more elegant, hiding the soil stack and everything behind it in a WC unit. The unit's 'worktop' would then be about 45cm deep. The question is, could the toilet attached to my WC unit be the 'wall hung' variety? I would prefer this from an aesthetic point of view, but suspect there is not likely to be a reasonable, robust, safe, secure, sensible and economical way of supporting the frame given it is so far from the concrete wall... Advice please! I have attempted to make a diagram, but not sure how this will come out....! |<----450-----> |___________ |___________| |...........| | |...........| | |...........| |_______ |...........| |_______| |...........| |..........| |...........| |......../ |<--410-->| |____/ |______O|_|__________
