Both fan and non fan ovens trip the mains - why?

The oven was in use and tripped the electrics. When this happened before it was the element in one oven. However this time both the ovens and grill trip the electric. What could be causing it? We have a rangemaster classic 110

Hi,
There are several problems that can cause your cooker to trip the electrics. The most convenient solution would be to call a registered electrician to diagnose the problem swiftly using test equipment.
Most electricians will cost between £40 - £50 as a standard charge. Should the problem be with the cooker circuit they will be able to rectify any problems.
Should the problem be the cooker appliance itself it may be worth contacting the manufacturer to see if repairs are covered under warranty. If not the electrician may be able to repair the cooker too for a additional cost.

Because they are both on the same circuit and you have a fault with one or the other or the cable feeding the items.
