Remove plaster from breeze blocks

Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 2.46 PM

I'm currently stripping my old kitchen back to the brick work due to the large amount of mild on the plaster coming from a combination of rising damp and condensation. Is there any easy way to remove plaster from breeze blocks? Removing plaster from bricks was relatively easy I have an sds drill that cut through that like butter. But trying to get it off one wall made of breeze blocks is proving a nightmare. Any suggestions greatly received?

Try this, I use it for removing felt off timber decks, it is the best thing to get in between two materials and remove it.... http://www.screwfix.com/p/armeg-sds-plus-tile-removing-chisel/89391?_requestid=526306 Regards Drew

The old fashioned good way would be to get sharp chisel and good hammer and just pick at it lightly depending on the quality of the walls Theres a new tool called a Multi tool with can also be used to cut and wall the plaster in sections if used correctly. feel free to ask for assistance or a quotation for us to do it for you RP WORKS LTD
