Regularly bleeding 1 radiator
Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 2.46 PM
Every few days to once a week I'm having to bleed the vertical rad in the bathroom. It's the highest point on the system as far as I can tell so i understand why the air is finding this radiator. I've tried lighting the gas released when bleeding and it doesn't pop or light up which means it's likely not a build up of hydrogen from corrosion and sludge. Theirs no visible leaks on any of the radiators and I haven't seen a drastic drop in pressure but I do top it up a bit once I bleed it - all I'm saying is that it's not dropping drastically. Maybe .1 / .2 every time I bleed it. I have had all the downstairs rads replaced from singles to doubles (few months back) and so it could be just air that's still in the system, it might be that this calms down after a while but it's been regular lately. I have a vaillant eco plus combi boiler and about 11-12 rads in the system... Any help would be appreciative
